Latino culture and diasporic undercurrents are woven into the fabric of my work, but health and wellness are central themes in everything I touch.
At some point, my main character will inevitably figure out that they were right all along—exercise is the answer. Ugh.
The Story
Selene’s first mistake was falling in love with a Wright brother; her second mistake was marrying the wrong one. She returns to her Lake Michigan hometown and ends up working for the chef who broke her heart a decade ago—until a viral take-down of his restaurant forces them to fake a romance that neither of them is faking.
